Trip to the ER
Aiden found something in the back yard last night. He only wanted his ear to hold it for him he said. Needless to say we ended up taking a trip to the ER to see if the doctor could remove a small blue ball stuck in Aiden’s ear. After filing out all the paper work, I noticed that I could see the ball more clearly; it had moved. I told Aiden to hold his head down and I shook it. Using my fingernail, which are quite long now thanks to pregnancy, I removed the blue ball.
I was very happy not to pay the ER $50 copay for this!
I was told later that all young boys have a fetish for putting things inside oral cavities - hmm… wonder where that comes from?
The funny thing was I saw my OBGYN and she was happy that the trip wasn’t about me yet.
