Today’s events
Today I enjoyed watching my son participate in library story time. A very engaging woman read children (3-5yrs old) three stories. Aiden was mesmorized and totally got into the sounds and body movements. I really need to find a preschool he can attend a couple days a week. He’s three, going on eight.
Yesterday I bought him two games - Chutes and Ladders and Hi Ho Cherry Oh. I can’t believe the games I played are still going strong. I almost succumbed to Cooties, but decided to wait on that one. Aiden of course wanted the Star Wars Monopoly, but it’s a bit too old.
My days move so quickly, even not officially working this year, that I tend to rush Aiden along. I’m glad for the slow moments today.
